So this post could be quite boring. But yesterday 15 November 2012 i had keyhole surgery. I just wanted to do a quick post, as i feel abit pants not posting anything for you guys. It was quite a unique experience to say the least. I arrived at hospital at 8am. I had to get into my medical gown to my shock i had to be completely naked underneath (so that was abit of a suprise). They gave me anastetic & when i come back from being asleep it was unusual i was gasping for air & choking at the same time. I was then given tea & toast which was very hard to eat (my throat was so dry!). After all of that i was allowed to get dressed & go home :). It amazed me how quick it all happened to be honest, in saying that i was first in the que for surgery. I was home by 12:30. Unfortunately in my case the anastetic made me sick :(. Today is the 24 hour mark after the surgery & i have to say although doing normal things is very difficult like bending down, lifting heavy things & getting up. Im not in alot of pain. So thats just a small amount on my experience, hope this post wasnt too boring!

Oh, anaesthesias makes me really sick too. I had woken up in the hospital over a week after fainting. I had heart surgery and was recovering. As soon as I woke up and was actually aware of what was going on, the first thing I did was puke. LOL Glad to hear that you had a safe surgery. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteOh Hun sounds like you've been through a lot. I was sick when I got home, very horrible feeling being sick especially as I have stitches in my stomach. Thank you for the lovely encouraging comments :) x
